What We Do & How We Do It

We glean and salvage products from farmers, packing houses, regional supermarkets, and other suppliers to supplement the nutritional needs of the hungry in our region, without regard to race, creed, color, sexual orientation, or national origin.

We receive, process, and distribute food products to 135 qualified charitable agencies,  in the region who redistribute to the needy.

We solicit and receive funds from individual donors and small businesses and grants from foundations and corporations. We receive no grants from any governmental agency, and are not a member of  United Way.

In 2007 we provided 13 million pounds of food and household products, to a network of over 135 certified charitable nonprofit organizations.  More than 2 million meals were served at on-site feeding centers, including over 221,381 meals to children, and more than 1 million boxes/bags of food products were distributed to feed more than 3.5 million needy people.
